We took our own little Roman holiday and showed Tristan all the fasinating ruins of Rome.

The fountain at the base of the Spanish steps.

The Forum

The Trevi Fountain

Those Italian models have nothing on me!

Column of Trajan amongst ruins.

I love this photo showing the remains of a marble floor at the Forum.

Making a birthday wish at the Trevi Fountain.

The Spanish steps.

Popolo Square

Saint Maria's Basillica in Popolo Square. This church had the most beautiful sculptures. I particularly liked this photo.
The Arch of Constantine and the Colosseum.

Tristan and mommy on the Spanish steps.

Loved this old Fiat 500!

Ceiling of Saint Maria's Basillica.

Tristan throwing a coin over his shoulder making a wish at the Trevi Fountain. It was such a sweet moment.
"Mama, I wish for worms at the yellow house and Emma!"
The Colosseum was used for gladiatoral contests and public spectacles. It could hold 50,000 spectators.

Looking through an archway into the Colloseum.

Stumbled across the beautiful courtyard.

I don't remember the name of this church, but the stained glass roses and cherubs were so pretty.
