We started out the holiday season with the Waldorf Holiday Fair! Tristan is proudly displaying the candle he made. It was many trips around a table...dunking a candle wick into hot bees wax, but within no time he had created a real candle.

Next up at the fair was trying his hand at King Auther's sword. He was able to get the sword out of the stone after the mysteriously robed man told Tristan that the strength he needed was in his heart.

Then I tried my hand at something I've been wanting to do for ages, and that is to make my own pies from scratch, which was to include the pie crust (the most intimidating!).

But with my grandmother by my side cheering me on and giving me the confidence I needed, the pumpkin pie turned out beautiful!

Another holiday fair, decorating Christmas cupcakes.

YUM!

Then came time to decorate our tree.

And make Christmas cookies...

for our family and friends, and of course for Santa.
