"Where in the world are we today?"

In years past this blog was a way for family and friends to join us on our journey as we lived and traveled throughout Europe. Beginning September 2017 it will include our journey into Waldorf homeschooling/worldschooling. I hope to offer inspiration and connection to those that love to travel and home school their children...

Wasserburg Germany

We took a day trip to Wasserburg today...not the most exciting town, but quiant enough. Like all good trips in Europe, they start out somber at some elaborate church such as this one, The Max Emanuel Kapelle.

The streets were narrow, and no good photos could really be taken from any angle because everything was so close...so we opted for some goofy stuff instead....
Nothing says "FUN" like a good old fashioned hat trying on session.

First we have Tristan sporting the blue cone head hat.

Then he jumps right in with the cookie monster hat.

Here is the giant deer hat...a personal favorite of mine, but unfortunately way too big even for his Charlie Brown head!

Then we take you back to the cookie monster hat....Tristan was awfully fond of this hat and was really feeling this one!

Then last but not least, the dead squirrel hat!

  1. So...did you get the Cookie Monster hat? Isn't Cookie Monster called "Veggie Monster" now and only eats cookies on weekends in moderation? And Oscar isn't a grouch anymore, right? He has a personality disorder. Remember when kids shows were fun? But this isn't about that...this is about HATS! I vote for the Cookie Monster hat! :-)

Need more people commenting here...get some good conversations going. Right now, it's lonely here in the comment section. Not that I won't keep commenting anyway. Sometimes I just like to hear the sound of my own typing at 4am. ;-)
