Our vacation to Venice was one of the best times of my life! It had everything...ambiance, the unbelievable architecture, the secrets revealed around each and every corner, and at the end of every alley way. It was absolute eye candy for my soul and I cried as our water taxi pulled into the heart of Venice at Realto Bridge. And for one of those rare moments in my life, I was left speechless!

We bought Tristan a harmonica at one of the local music shops, and he took to it like fish take to water...and he serenaded the square during the dinner hour.
This was "OUR" square where we stayed at Campo San Boldo. It was out of the way of the touristy areas and full of family life, and we LOVED it!
This fountain was so beautiful to me and I wanted to have Tristan's picture by it. Every day we walked past it, and I would say to Tristan, "Let me take your picture by the fountain", and he would consistantly give these cheesy grins and it just wasn't what I wanted. Finally on our last day, he meandered over on his own accord for the pure joy of feeling the cool water on a hot day, and I captured that natural moment in time, and I couldn't have been happier!
This was our favorite square, just around the corner from the villa where we were staying. It was full of grandparents pushing newborn babies in their prams, and little children playing together while their parents had an expresso. We bought some chalk and joined in the fun and then I stole a kiss!
Everything about Venice was incredibly beautiful to me, even their laundry was beautiful!
