"Where in the world are we today?"

In years past this blog was a way for family and friends to join us on our journey as we lived and traveled throughout Europe. Beginning September 2017 it will include our journey into Waldorf homeschooling/worldschooling. I hope to offer inspiration and connection to those that love to travel and home school their children...

Nymphenburg Castle

We are pretty sure that we found Spring over the weekend! Mrs. Thaw seems to have come and melted all the snow away, and left us with green grass and flowers! Tristan found crocus, snowdrops, and even daffodils poking their heads through the ground.

Had to laugh at this one...Tristan jumped off his bike to see some swans, and two little German children came running over to have a good look at his bike.

We finally made it over to the Nymphenburg Castle. From all the pictures that I have seen of this palace, it is gorgeous once the flowers are in bloom and the covers are taken off all of the statues and fountains.

Located within the castle is the Man and Nature Museum. They had a fabulous diplay in the rock and mineral section. This crystal was about 5 feet long and nearly 3 feet tall.

We will be sure to come back when Spring is in full bloom!
