"Where in the world are we today?"

In years past this blog was a way for family and friends to join us on our journey as we lived and traveled throughout Europe. Beginning September 2017 it will include our journey into Waldorf homeschooling/worldschooling. I hope to offer inspiration and connection to those that love to travel and home school their children...

Nuremberg Christmas Market

The Nuremberg Christmas Market, known as "The Mother of all Markets", was PACKED this weekend, and with snowflakes flying, we managed to see every stall.

Here is Tristan trying to catch a snowflake on his tongue!

Here is another working wooden pyramid....

During dinner Tristan met Emily from Canada, and they shared a moment in time reading his shark book together.

A beautiful Christmas tree done up all in stars.....

Of couse there were tons of traditional German gifts....

And old fashioned ornaments.....

Tristan ended the day with a carousel ride!

We found a few treasures to add to our collection of holiday decorations and then headed home.
