We arrived home in Rochester at 7pm on Christmas Eve, and it was a little like "It's a Wonderful Life", because we were so touched by how much everyone cared.... an outpouring of love from our friends and family in our "time of need".
There were two Christmas trees for us! Thankyou mom and dad, and the Thayer family!
There were bags of food to be sure we didn't go hungry! Thankyou Rebecca for driving all the way from Attleboro to leave yummy homemade chicken soup...you have NO idea how good that was to my sore throat!
Thankyou to mom and dad who also brought essentials and to Eric and Jennifer who brilliantly left a tube of "cut and slice" bake cookies...because after being up for 30 hours, I couldn't have managed anything else!
And to Eric who cleared the nearly 2 feet of snow off our car and snowblowed us a path to our home.
We adore you all!
