"Where in the world are we today?"

In years past this blog was a way for family and friends to join us on our journey as we lived and traveled throughout Europe. Beginning September 2017 it will include our journey into Waldorf homeschooling/worldschooling. I hope to offer inspiration and connection to those that love to travel and home school their children...

New England for Halloween!

We flew into New England just in time for Halloween, and what better costumes than authentic traditional Bavarian dirndls and lederhosen from Munich Germany of course!

Tristan spent Halloween morning carving his pumpkin with Emma.

And here is my little German boy!

Tristan with his princess Emma!

Tristan, Emma, Aidan, and Nick collecting candy at Plumb Corner.
Tristan collected as much candy as he could, then left it at the foot of his bed for the sugar fairy. In the morning Tristan woke to find that the sugar fairy took all the candy and left him a bicycle and a flashlight. Tristan was thrilled!

London England

So one year and two weeks to the day since we left for our European journey, we find ourselves back in merry old England!

Back in our favorite Holland Park where the fall folliage was at its most spectacular.

Back where Tristan was born and his daddy held him in this very same spot at one week old.

The two of them just as cute now as they were then!

Tristan still wondering what he did with his key to Kensington Palace!
It was a real joy to go back once again and go to our old stomping grounds..to the familiar...to Tristan's first home.
